Junior Graphic Designer

The Role:

Veronica Beard is looking for a passionate Junior Graphic Designer to work closely alongside the creative team who is responsible for consistency of Veronica Beard’s aesthetic and elevating brand experience across all consumer touchpoints. The Junior Graphic Designer will work on a variety of both print and digital deliverables and campaign creative across all channels. In addition to creating digital assets, the designer will help fulfill production and administrative duties for the creative team. Including project management, assisting with photoshoot pre and post - production tasks and communicating cross-departmental requests. This role reports to the Ecommerce Art Director and is based in our NYC office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design graphics across all Veronica Beard channels, both digital and print.
  • Act as creative lead for paid media assets, including affiliate banners, seasonal campaign launches and sale.
  • Assist social with weekly graphics needs.
  • Update and maintain campaign assets across the Veronica Beard website, VB edit homepage, VBGB, and additional content pages.
  • Execute monthly email automations and slicing of all Veronica Beard marketing emails.
  • Create Welcome series and Re-engagement email campaigns.
  • Partner with events team to design flyers and invites.
  • Assist Graphic Designer with digital production of ecommerce assets (i.e., cropping, exporting and renaming images) for both VB and wholesale sites.

Retoucher

The Role:

As our in-house Retoucher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our creative aligns with overall brand vision and messaging. You will work on making imagery that is visually compelling, will be required to pay close attention to detail, color, and composition with a strong understanding of e-commerce visual standards and ensure that the brand experience is maintained across all platforms.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling and creating impactful e-commerce experiences through high-quality images. This person must have the ability to adapt to evolving brand aesthetics and guidelines and are proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the creative, social, and marketing teams to understand and execute on the vision for product images in alignment with the Veronica Beard brand aesthetic
  • Retouch and enhance product images to meet the highest standards of quality, color accuracy, clarity, and overall visual appearance
  • Maintain consistency in image style and quality across all platforms and channels, including website, social media, promotional materials, print materials, and OOH
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in retouching to continually elevate the quality and impact of our visual content

  • Should include skin, garment, product clean up, color matching, compositing, masking across campaign imagery to social to ecommerce assets.
  • Proven track record of detail-oriented, organized, and methodical approach to retouching and familiarity with e-commerce and fashion industry visual standards.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate creative decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with and receiving creative direction from Art & Creative Directors and make amends where necessary.

Creative Operations Project Manager

The Role:

    Veronica Beard is seeking a detail oriented and passionate Creative Operations Project Manager to join the Creative team. This role will report into our VP of Creative and is based in our NYC office.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage brand-led creative projects from conception through delivery, including but not limited to yearly & seasonal campaigns, direct mail, e-commerce/email, social, events & special projects.
    • Work with internal stakeholders to gather and implement project scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and deadlines.
    • Develop detailed schedules and work with brand creative team, including production & post-production and external vendors, to oversee daily workflow, ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines/budgets.
    • Ensure projects are trafficked through PMT and maintain schedules according to cross-functional needs.
    • Work with key departments including Marketing, E-commerce and Merchandising throughout the progress of projects to encourage collaboration ensure any shifts in programming are addresses and projects are adjusted & communicated accordingly.
    • Partner with creative leads and VP Creative to ensure projects are routed for approval by stakeholders on a weekly basis.
    • Schedule meetings and set agendas for creative approvals and ensure all teams and assets are prepared for presentation.
    • Manage in-house photo studio.

    Assistant CAD Designer

    The Role:

    Veronica Beard is seeking a passionate and creative Assistant CAD Designer to join our team. The role will work closely with the Design and Raw Material’s teams to CAD flats, recolor and research prints, and assist with updates to the design boards and PLM color library. The role reports directly to the Senior Design Director and is based in our NYC office.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with the design team to recolor flats, CAD patterns on flats, and upload and manage styles in PLM.
    • Work with the raw materials team to manage color updates and assist in maintaining and organizing the color library.
    • Assist in recoloring, color separating, and create repeats for both original and studio prints.
    • Assist in tracking and T&A for fabric color approvals and print development
    • Create presentation files for CADS for exclusives and special projects.

    Paid Media Manager

    The Role:

    Veronica Beard is looking for a passionate paid social expert to join our team at our head office in NYC. The Manager will oversee all paid social initiatives including performance of boosted brand campaigns, in addition to supporting the wider team in performance channels. The candidate will help provide strategy for our paid social campaigns, aimed at acquiring new customers as part of a holistic media strategy. The Manager will also work synergistically with brand, creative and copy to test into new ad formats and influencer marketing.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead paid social creative strategy, working with creative to brief assets in Asana and test into new ad ideas.
    • Work alongside the Director of Performance Marketing to develop channel strategy focused on customer acquisition initiatives.
    • Oversee the day-to-day execution and optimization of social/paid media campaign performance.
    • Establish, monitor and report on all paid channel KPIs, and provide strategic recommendations based on performance metrics.
    • Manage with Audience Segmentation strategies (Custom Audiences in Facebook, Live Ramp etc.)
    • Work towards KPI’s such as CAC, LTV, and attribution modeling for the channel
    • Manage submission and delivery of creative requests for all performance marketing channels.
    • Oversee daily, weekly and monthly reporting, including key marketing performance indicators, tracking and testing data that is sent to key stakeholders.
    • Manage digital performance invoice and budget planner, ensuring accuracy and optimization.
    • Perform Test Variants for campaigns to gain insights on Messaging, Promotions, and Creative

    • Work with Site Team to develop landing page strategy and on-site optimization utilizing Experience Optimization Platforms

    • 3+ years’ experience optimizing best-in class Paid Social Campaigns.
    • Experience reporting and providing regular insights to business stakeholders.

    E-Commerce Demand Planner

    The Role:

    The Ecommerce Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting our e-commerce business, in concert with our digital marketing, site and planning teams. This role requires strong leadership and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. This person must have the ability to dig into the details, while also articulating the big picture to executives and other stakeholders.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Report out on key metrics related to our site performance, especially as it relates to our demand revenue, shipping forecasts, and returns
    • Communicate results and forecasts to the broader organization, including executives, and make business-critical recommendations based on forecasts and insights driven
    • Develop our e-commerce business demand forecasts by working with our digital marketing, site, data, and planning teams to understand channel growth, site behaviors, historical demand, and product trends, merging quantitative data (e.g. shipments) and other marketing, customer, promotional, and market intelligence demand signals
    • Work cross-functionally with the DTC buying/planning team to validate inventory needs based on our channel trends and consumer demand, forecast returns, and help maximize our inventory efficiency
    • Provide selling insights specific to e-commerce to help inform merchandising and product development (e.g. out of stock requests), and creative (e.g. digital asset success vs. productivity of sku)
    • Assist in new product and promotional planning with the goal of aligning our marketing, site, and finance forecasts with those from planning
    • Work closely with our data and CRM teams to incorporate key customer insights into our forecasting capabilities

    Customer Experience & E-Commerce Coordinator

    The Role:

    The Customer Experience & E-Commerce Coordinator will serve as the owner of customer communications across all e-commerce tools, building consumer relationships, creating brand advocacy and customer retention, along with helping to generate sales. The role will be responsible for ensuring an optimal pre and post-purchase experience and will also be a supporting resource for the day-to-day operations of VeronicaBeard.com. This role requires a high-energy, sociable individual with strong attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills. The position will involve cross-functional collaboration with our operations, e-commerce, planning, retail, and production teams. The role reports to the Customer Experience Manager.

     

    Responsibilities:

    Customer Communication

    • Deliver superior, personalized service to address customer inquiries and follow-ups via phone calls, emails and SMS
    • Maintain flow of omnichannel fulfillment orders
    • Utilize in-depth knowledge of on-site collection to effectively communicate product features and provide styling advice to customers
    • ID efficiencies within current customer service processes to deliver value to the customer

    Post-Purchase Experience

    • Responsible for ensuring quality of post-purchase experience including enhancements to order tracking, return processes, and omnichannel fulfillment
    • Maintain existing orders (including shipping upgrades, order adjustments, shipping/billing information changes, delivery status updates, requests for tracking information and cancellations)
    • Follow-up with customers regarding order and return issues (i.e. declined credit card transaction, out of stock items, refund status)
    • Monitor scheduled shipment dates daily and working with the Production department & Warehouse to ensure timely delivery and expedite shipments as needed

    CRM & Omnichannel Support

    Email Marketing Assistant

    The Role:

    Veronica Beard is seeking a detail-oriented Email Marketing Assistant to join our growing CRM team. As an Email Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in executing our email marketing campaigns to engage our current database as well as gain new customers. You will work closely with the Email Marketing Assistant Manager and cross functional partners to ensure each email campaign not only meets business needs but aligns with our brand’s vision. You will report on key email metrics to ensure constant optimization.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor email and SMS marketing trends, evolving best practices, competitor activity, and testing opportunities to help drive business.
    • Assist with creating monthly email calendar, taking into account all business requirements, product availability, digital initiatives, historical email performance etc.
    • Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of email and SMS marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement.
    • Utilize Klaviyo to create and schedule email campaigns, segment lists, and pull campaign performance data.

    Accounts Payable Specialist

    The Role:

    The Accounts Payable Specialist must have working knowledge of Accounts Payable ideally within the Apparel and Fashion industry. The position is based in our NYC office.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for full cycle accounts payable processing in in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with company policies.
    • Code, enter invoices, review and match payments to invoice backup, mail out checks and maintain accounts payable files.
    • Provide top-quality assistance and support to all internal and external business partners.
    • Maintain and organize the process of invoice booking: promptly secure all necessary approvals and appropriate coding while meeting high standards of accounting accuracy and position requirements.
    • Ensure that all daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed accurately by the assigned deadlines.
    • Review and audit expense reporting for receipts and proper GL coding including for corporate credit card expenses.
    • Reconcile vendor statements with processed invoices/payments. Follow-up for invoice copies and with internal contacts in a timely manner.
    • Assist with month-end closing and reconciling AP ledger with general ledger.
    • Assist in investigating and resolving outstanding vendor invoice issues
    • Organize and maintain relevant accounting details and files
    • Maintain systems and provide feedback on improvement opportunities

    Payroll Specialist

    The Role:

    The Payroll Specialist is responsible for coordinating and processing all payroll. This role is based out of our New York City corporate office reporting to the Financial Manager.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs all functions required to process the bi-weekly payroll including auditing timecards and coordinating with Human Resources
    • Processing multi jurisdiction payroll, including Canada and UK
    • Preparing journal entries to record payroll to G/L
    • Commissions calculations
    • Serve as a resource for payroll related issues to resolve grievances or pay discrepancies with employees, HR, legal, accounting, benefits, or government agencies
    • Support year end processing and special projects including internal and external audits relating to payroll
    • Ability to drive ownership of their area of responsibility to consistently meet deadlines

     

    Requirements:

    • 3-5+ years of payroll experience preferred
    • Experience with high volume payroll
    • Knowledgeable about federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
    • Proficient in Payroll software ADP Workforce (Canada and UK ADP experience preferred)

    Accounts Receivable Manager

     

    The Role:

    The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for coordinating credit and collection activities; working closely with Sales, outside credit insurance partners, and a factor to monitor and ensure compliance with collection policies and requirements. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the day-to-day collection effort, conducting collection calls and e-mails, managing prepaid accounts with payments and Logistics, and consistently following up with aged accounts.

          Technical Designer, Soft Wovens

          The Role:

          We are seeking a Technical Designer to join our Tech Design team. The position is based in our NYC Corporate office and reports to the Senior Technical Designer. The ideal candidate will have women’s soft wovens experience.

           

          Responsibilities:

          • Measure and evaluate all samples prior to fittings
          • Translate development concept into technical packages detailing garment measurements, design features, and construction requirements to overseas and domestic production partners
          • Evaluate samples for fit and provide technical direction, internally and externally, on corrective actions needed to bring samples to brand fit standards
          • Lead live fit sessions to evaluate and refine fit, construction, and quality for designated product categories
          • Prepare all fit comments for designated product categories and communicate them effectively with overseas and domestic factories
          • Interface with patternmakers to convey fit and construction corrections accurately
          • Provide grading to vendors after fit approval, ensure that grading is executed accurately to preserve the integrity of the design and fit across all sizes

          Wholesale Planner

          The Role:

          Veronica Beard is looking for a motivated Wholesale Planner to support the growing Veronica Beard wholesale business. This person will be responsible for reviewing performance, developing strategies for growth, and ensuring margin and sell-through targets are achieved in season. This role will report to the Senior Wholesale Planner and is based in our NY office.

           

          Responsibilities:

          • Execute reporting and share performance analysis by delivery and classification for key wholesale accounts and/or sales regions
          • Analyze monthly OTBs and run in season forecasts to maximize profitability in cost accounting
          • Highlight the deliverables needed to limit risk and achieve sales and inventory goals
          • Manage pre-season and in-season replenishment forecasts for key accounts, which represent 17% of total wholesale business
          • Partner with Sales team in prepping for market by reviewing sales and receipt goals and creating assortment plans by classification and door cluster
          • Monitor and forecast location level sales and receipt plans, while developing strategies for growth alongside Sales team
          • Develop strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional and external partners

           

          Requirements:

          • Bachelor’s Degree
          • 5-6 years of relevant experience in planning, buying, and/or account management.
          • Advanced Excel skills
          • Comprehensive understanding of retail math and cost accounting
          • Strong attention to detail
          • Excellent analytical skills
          • Organized and able to multi-task
          • Personable, team oriented, and capable of developing strong working relationship with internal and external partners
          • Experience working in wholesale planning or a major retailer
          • Experience with Nordstrom, or Saks Fifth is a plus

           

          The base salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $90,000.
