Erin Andrews, Sportscaster & Television Personality
She may be on the sidelines at the games, but she’s the leading the way when it comes to women in sports reporting. Meet Erin Andrews, television personality and the lead sideline reporter on Fox Sports’ NFL broadcasting team.
“Every time I step on a football field, there are always naysayers
that don’t think I know the game or the players because I’m a female. But every
year I continue to show people why I’m still around,” she tells us.
Here, we chat with Andrews on how to make it as a woman in a male-dominated industry, her top work and life hacks, and why she never takes no for an answer.
Q&A
What are the driving passions that set you on your path?
The biggest one is my passion for sports. I love how competitive the players are, the stories behind the teams, athletes, and coaches. And I love telling their stories. I guess you would say I also have a passion for performing. When the camera lights turn on, it's an exciting feeling.
