The VB Edit: On Motherhood

To all the mothers and mothers-to-be,

We were both raised by independent, loving, understanding, and empowering women and we wouldn’t be where we are today without their support and guidance. We are so grateful for the impact they have had on our lives and hope we can do the same for our children as they grow and discover their passions in the world. This month we want to celebrate all the mothers, and mothers-to-be, who turn to Veronica Beard for the essentials that make you feel chic and effortless.

We are honored to be a part of Claiborne Swanson Frank’s newest book, Mother and Child (out now from Assouline), alongside Aerin Lauder, Patti Hansen and the women of the Bush family. We talked to Claiborne about creating this book and asked a few of the inspiring mothers featured to share their ultimate motherhood life hack. We’ll also visit Kate Schelter, the illustrator behind our upcoming collaboration, at her studio for an inside look at her work and our newest styles.
