BEST PART ABOUT PORTUGAL:
Jen: The hills are a great booty workout!

Jen: Lisbon & Douro Valley
Kelly: Sintra – it’s a very picturesque town outside Lisbon.
Monica: The “non-cities” Douro Valley, Comporta, and the Algarve.
Jen: Memmo Principe Real in Lisbon and Six Senses in Douro Valley
Kelly: The Yeatman in Porto and Bela Vista in Portimao (Algarve)
Monica: Casa do Rio Wine Hotel in the Douro Valley and Casa Mae in Lagos
Jen: DOC in Douro Valley is cantilevered over the Douro River. For those who are gluten intolerant, the gluten-free bread is to die for!
Kelly: Canico! The restaurant was built into the cliffs of the Algarve and has the most breath-taking views of the sea.
Monica: Museu do Arroz in Comporta for rice with carabineros – local shrimp the size of small lobsters!
Jen: Memmo Principe Real – their outdoor bar has gorgeous views of the city and very tasty cocktails!
Kelly: Base in Porto is a really cool outdoor bar. They have bean bags and picnic blankets to sit and drink on the lawn.
Monica: On a catamaran sailing through the Rio Formosa lagoon. Salt & Sea Boat Tours serves fine champagne onboard!
Jen: Castelo de Sao Jorge is an ancient Moorish castle and it’s a hike to get there, but the views from the top are well worth it!
Kelly: The cave boat tour in the Algarve was one of the best parts of my trip. You get to explore hidden coves while boating down the golden coast admiring the cliffs and beaches.
Monica: The Casa Serralves in Porto is a stunning art deco building painted in the perfect shade of millennial pink. The modernist museum adjacent has a great contemporary art collection too!
Jen: The Mercado Biológico do Principe Real in Lisbon has amazing cheeses and wines, and is located next to a park where you can enjoy your finds.
Kelly: In Douro Valley for the delicious Port wine.
Monica: A Vida Portuguese in Lisbon for local souvenirs, and Claus in Porto for beautifully packaged soaps. Comporta’s main street has great boutiques for home decor too!
