1. Place your bandana on a flat surface, colored side down, with a corner edge facing you. Fold the bottom point slightly above the middle of the scarf. Repeat with the top point: Fold down slightly below to the middle of the scarf.
2. Fold the bottom edge to meet the center. Do the same with the top edge, folding it down to meet the new bottom edge.
3. Fold, horizontally, once more so you have a long strip.
4. Place the center of the strip in front of your neck, then bring the ends behind your neck and tie with a double knot. You can wear it tighter, choker style, or looser so the knot hangs to the side, effortlessly.

The Babushka
1. If you have long hair, pull your hair back into a low ponytail or bun.
2. Place your bandana on a flat surface, colored side down, with a corner edge facing you. Fold the bandana in half, diagonally, to make a triangle; the bottom corner should align with the top corner.
3. Fold the base of the triangle up about 1-2 inches toward the tip of the triangle. Crease and fold.
4. Place the scarf over your head, with the triangle "top" pointing down to your neck.
5. With the "base" of the triangle running across your forehead—and making sure the ends of the scarf are even—tie the ends together under your chin in a double knot.
Bonus: Instead of tying under your chin, wrap the ends around your neck and tie them together in the back à la Grace Kelly.

The Nineties Wrap
1. Place your bandana on a flat surface, colored side down, with a corner edge facing you. Fold the bandana in half, diagonally, to make a triangle; the bottom corner should align with the top corner.
2. Hold the scarf over your head, with the triangle "top" pointing down to your neck. Place the "base" of the triangle at your crown and tie the ends at the back of the head, under your hair.
Bonus: For the wide headband version, also popular in the Nineties, follow step 1 and 2 for The Cobra Kai, but fold fewer times for a wider strip. Tie the ends at the back of the head, under your hair.
