Decor Tips

5 quick recs, straight from the new VB Madison

DEBUG: core/paragraph

We had some work done… at our flagship Madison Avenue store. Here, VB interior designer Carolina de Neufville shares five quick tips from the flagship's new interiors that you can easily apply to your own living spaces. And if you're in New York City, come visit us at 988 Madison Avenue and check out the new VB experience…

1. Think Color-On-Color
For the store revamp, we were inspired by a vintage photograph of an all-pink room. We treated the color like a neutral—pink walls, pink ceiling, pink sofas—and incorporated different shades of the hue, from blush to fuchsia. Then we added tiger prints for contrast.

2. Make It Picture Perfect
Frame vintage photographs that speak to your aesthetic—it’s a great way to add personality to a space.

3. Scale Up
Make your space feel larger without moving the walls. We used larger furniture and oversized art on a very neutral light-colored floor and background, which made the store feel more spacious.

4. There's No Place Like Home
We want the customer to feel at home in the stores. A living room setting anchoring the center of the space creates this inviting and warm atmosphere.

5. Don't Forget to Have Fun
Of course, we couldn't forget our signature "I Want It All" neon sign! When decorating your space, don't forget about the details that will make you and your guests smile.
