"The look is natural and pretty, with a light flush through the cheeks."

The Skin

1.

Prep with our Hydrating Face Tonic. All it takes is a couple cotton pads to refresh the skin nicely.

2.

Moisturize with Vitamin Enriched Face Base, which is a beautiful emollient that sinks into the skin. It's the perfect prep for makeup.

3.

Apply foundation. Our Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation, with SPF 15, neutralizes the face—nothing too much, just where you need coverage.

4.

Apply Full Cover Concealer to add a bit of brightness.

The Brow

1.

Shape the brow with a clear brow gel, brushing up and under.

The Eyes

1.

Apply our Cream Shadow Stick, in vanilla or taupe, all over above the eye. A lot of times when we add pinks or yellows, we look tired, so we want to neutralize that with a matte beige-y color.

2.

Sweep an icy pink, like our Damask Ball, over the top eyelid. It's a pretty pink sheen that gives this almost watercolor-like shimmer effect

3.

Add a bit of Bone Shimmer in the inner corner, to open up the eye.

4.

Apply that same icy pink, Damask Ball, on the bottom of the eye for a soft sheen.

5.

Finish with a tint of mascara—nothing too much—and then take a clean brush through the lashes so they still look fluttery.

The Cheeks

1.

Smile, and apply our Pink Retouching Powder by brushing on the apples of the cheeks. Focus more on the front than the sides.

The Lips

1.

Apply our Tinted Moisturizing Balm, so it stains a bit.

2.

Press a little bit of Nude Reality Luxe Matte Lip Color on the top with your fingertips. You can do it straight from the tube or use a brush, but I like to press with my fingertips so you get this undone look. It's not too much color application, but you get the tone on it.

Makeup Hack: Take the Look from Day to Night

1.

Smudge a little eyeliner through the top lash line. Use a soft brown around the eye, so you get a smokey eye while still seeing the link everywhere.

2.

Do the same, just a little, on the bottom lash line.

Hair by Kevin Hughes, Moroccanoil Artistic Director

"Subtle and pulled back, but we're leaving the girls' natural texture. For longer hair, we're pulling it into a low ponytail and tying a piece of fabric onto the hair."

The Prep

1.

When you get out of the shower, before you even detangle your hair, press Moroccanoil Treatment lightly into your hair with your hands. It helps to restore elasticity as well as add shine and decrease frizz.

2.

Press with your hands, from the bottom of your hair upwards.

3.

Go right into the blowout. If you have super curly hair, add Moroccanoil Curl Defining Cream.

The Blowout

1.

Blow dry with a little bit of the Hydrating Styling Cream. Apply right on top of the Moroccanoil Treatment that's already in the hair.

2.

If you want to curl the hair, make sure to use Perfect Defense as a heat protectant. Any time you bring a hot tool to your hair, you need to use a heat protectant.

3.

If you leave your hair straight, just blow it out into its natural shape.

The Style

1.

Part the hair in the center. But if you look better with a side part, stay with it.

2.

Bring your hair back into a low ponytail, at the nape of the neck, with an elastic band. Make sure the band is coated so there's no snagging.

3.

Spray some Dry Oil Texture throughout for some instant texture.

4.

With your right hand around the elastic, use your left hand to pull pieces of hair up so there's a slight undone feel. This really gives the silhouette of the hair more shape.

Hair Hack: Take the Look from Day to Night

1.

Twist or braid the "ponytail" part and keep it low, still at the nape of the neck.

2.

If you do a three-strand braid, then blouse it—i.e. expand a little with your fingers, thumbs on top moving outward—so you double or triple the size of the braid.

3.

Wrap it around itself.

4.

Hold secure with bobby pins.

Bonus tip:

Whenever you're using bobby pins, spray them with a dry texture hairspray so the pins have more of a grip. There's less chance they'll slide out.

Manicure by Julie Kandalec for essie

"We created a custom color inspired by the pink leather pants in the VB collection. I call it a triple-layered strawberry cake because it's three colors, one on top of another."

1.

Make sure the nail plate is nice and smooth—buff it.

2.

Apply a base coat, Here to Stay.

3.

Add a coat of Cascade Cool.

4.

Add one coat of Minimalistic.

5.

Add one coat of Mademoiselle, which is really sheer. This puts a glaze over everything—kind of like how you glaze a cake.

6.

Finish with a top coat, Speed Setter—it dries really fast.

Nail-Care Tip

Don't peel or take off your gel! When people say gel ruined their nails, I always ask how they took it off. Because it's not the product; it's the improper removal.
