What is the perfect rise for me?

The rise measures the distance from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband, determining where the jean sits on your torso.

Jean Rise Guide

Mid Rise

What jean length works best for me? 

The ideal jean length depends on both your height and how you want the style to fall on your leg. Inseam length is measured from the crotch seam to the hem.

VB inseam sizing is based on a 5'8" - 5'10" height, or a 30" - 32" inseam.

"Love the wash, fit and style of these jeans! A couple of notes though - They are a true high rise, I have a longer torso and they still came up to my belly button. I wish there were more mid rise options with these washes! Also, read the inseam (I always forget). Again, they’re a perfect fit and I love them but I probably need 2” hemmed off the bottom for a single break."
