Junior Graphic Designer

The Role:

Veronica Beard is looking for a passionate Junior Graphic Designer to work closely alongside the creative team who is responsible for consistency of Veronica Beard’s aesthetic and elevating brand experience across all consumer touchpoints. The Junior Graphic Designer will work on a variety of both print and digital deliverables and campaign creative across all channels. In addition to creating digital assets, the designer will help fulfill production and administrative duties for the creative team. Including project management, assisting with photoshoot pre and post - production tasks and communicating cross-departmental requests. This role reports to the Ecommerce Art Director and is based in our NYC office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design graphics across all Veronica Beard channels, both digital and print.
  • Act as creative lead for paid media assets, including affiliate banners, seasonal campaign launches and sale.
  • Assist social with weekly graphics needs.
  • Update and maintain campaign assets across the Veronica Beard website, VB edit homepage, VBGB, and additional content pages.
  • Execute monthly email automations and slicing of all Veronica Beard marketing emails.
  • Create Welcome series and Re-engagement email campaigns.
  • Partner with events team to design flyers and invites.

Retoucher

The Role:

As our in-house Retoucher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our creative aligns with overall brand vision and messaging. You will work on making imagery that is visually compelling, will be required to pay close attention to detail, color, and composition with a strong understanding of e-commerce visual standards and ensure that the brand experience is maintained across all platforms.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling and creating impactful e-commerce experiences through high-quality images. This person must have the ability to adapt to evolving brand aesthetics and guidelines and are proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the creative, social, and marketing teams to understand and execute on the vision for product images in alignment with the Veronica Beard brand aesthetic

Product Development Associate, Handbags

The Role:

Veronica Beard is seeking a driven and passionate Associate to work closely with the Director of Product Development/Production for its new handbag category. The role will involve collaborating closely with external design consultants, multiple cross -functional teams across the company, and numerous overseas vendors. This role is based in our NYC office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support PD/Production Director on all aspects of development from initial tech pack through to production.
  • Assist in creating seasonal WIP charts in Excel amongst external supply chain partners.
  • Maintain WIP charts throughout development to ensure all information is accurate prior to production pass off.
  • The Associate will be responsible for daily vendor communication and will address all issues pertinent to accurate execution of product from development through to production ex-factory.
  • Communicate daily with internal cross functional partners and external partners to ensure major milestones are achieved within the timeline published.
  • Responsible for the completion of BOM “Bill of Materials” in PLM.
  • Support manager in costing process; sending factory FOB targets, cost negotiation through development, and cost finalization prior to production.
  • Manage, track, monitor and report on sample and delivery status at each milestone utilizing factory WIP chart.
  • Review all samples received and check for accuracy, execution, and understanding of Design’s intent.
  • The Associate will be the key point person for the sending of development packages to design partners and external supply chain partners.
  • Responsible for preparing shipping documents for sample materials in UPS/DHL/FEDEX.

 

Requirements:

Product Development Assistant

The Role:

The Product Development Assistant (Sweaters, Cut & Sew Knits) will be supporting the product lifecycle for the Sweaters and Cut & Sew Knits category. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working on physical product, is highly organized and has a genuine interest in learning about product development for knitwear. This role is based out of our NYC office and reports to the Assistant Product Development Manager for knitwear.

 

Responsibilities:

Support and assist in day-to-day operations of Product Development + Design teams for sweaters, as follows:

  • Work with PD Assistant Manager to create and maintain seasonal WIP files, tracking raw materials and samples statuses daily
  • Utilize PLM software to set up and update raw materials and seasonal styles throughout development process
  • Create and maintain BOMs in PLM system for all styles throughout development process
  • Responsible for coordinating and sending parcels to overseas factories, as well as checking in samples, mock-ups, and approvals when boxes are received
  • Maintain sample library, organizing and archiving garments each season for future design reference or distribution to sample sale
  • Assist in the sourcing of raw materials (yarns and trims) each season, as well as pricing, organizing, and archiving seasonal yarn cards / selections sent from mills / vendors
  • Support PD Assistant Manager in the ordering of yarns and other raw materials, as well as tracking status of all materials
  • Work with Design Colorist to launch seasonal lab dips and send comments to suppliers / mills, as needed
  • Steam and prepare samples for fittings and seasonal market appointments, coordinating button and trim applications and alterations, when necessary
  • Attend development fittings, taking thorough notes about any style changes that affect materials and BOMs

Omnichannel Clienteling Associate

The Role:

The Omnichannel Clienteling Associate will manage Veronica Beard’s omnichannel client interactions and play a vital role in building and curating customer’s wardrobes with VB’s latest styles. The Associate will also serve as the owner of top customer communications across store and e-commerce, partnering with the stores team to build consumer relationships through proactive outreach, creating brand advocacy and customer retention. This role requires a high-energy, sociable individual with strong attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills. The position will involve cross-functional collaboration with our Retail, Operations, E-commerce, Planning and Production teams.

 

Responsibilities:

Customer Clienteling/Post-Purchase Experience:

  • Lead proactive clienteling outreach efforts with stores and ongoing communication with top customers to strengthen personal relationships and deliver superior, personalized service via email, text messages and phone calls to encourage customer loyalty and increase sales.
  • Partner with store management to ensure that associates are cultivating relationships with customers using outreach lists, mapping out all customer touch points, and setting up appointments/consignments.
  • Provide the stores team with weekly reporting to track clienteling efforts, attributed sales, and identify opportunities to conduct monthly coaching/counseling sessions with employees to review store clienteling initiatives and strategize when performance standards are not met.
  • Develop and refine a clienteling toolkit for stores and actively look for strategies to increase customer traffic and client development.
  • Identify new clients and maintain current client lists for growth of consignment business and client development.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of seasonal collections to effectively communicate product features and provide styling advice to client advisors in stores and to digital customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality of post-purchase experience for top customers including enhancements to order tracking, return processes, and omnichannel fulfillment.

Digital Styling:

  • Help launch Veronica Beard’s Online Consignment Box program and manage the process from initial customer sign-up through delivery of items & post-purchase experience.
  • Develop high-touch relationships with customers and curate items for them based on their individual needs & preferences.
  • Monitor scheduled shipment dates daily and work with the Production department & Warehouse to ensure timely delivery and expedite shipments as needed.
  • Follow-up with customers regarding order and return issues (i.e., declined credit card transaction, out of stock items, refund status)
  • Maintain existing orders (including shipping upgrades, order adjustments, shipping/billing information changes, delivery status updates, requests for tracking information and cancellations)

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of prior in-store or digital stylist experience, preferably at an e-commerce, beauty, or fashion retail business.
  • Previous in-store clienteling and/or training experience a plus.

The Role:

Veronica Beard is looking for a skilled Senior Copywriter to craft product, homepage, email, and other editorial, marketing, and social copy. This position reports to the Editorial Director and will work cross-functionally with marketing, production, design, and merchandise teams to conceive and execute brand copy across multiple platforms.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Write product copy/descriptions across multiple areas (site, hangtags, flashers)
  • Write copy for emails, website including homepage, category pages, and paid media
  • Coordinate information-gathering for all product details and format them into product copy to deliver accurate and relevant selling points to the customer in order to minimize returns and questions to our customer service teams
  • Identify and articulate all products’ unique selling points
  • Contribute to various cross-functional initiatives, including commercial campaign development, new launches, store openings, events, etc.
  • Partner with creative, marketing, design, merchandising, and production teams to ensure copy is brand-appropriate and effective across all digital touchpoints

The Role:

The Senior Merchandiser is responsible for the product direction and performance of all RTW categories. The individual will work closely with the Senior Director of Merchandising to develop a line that represents Veronica Beard and is aligned with the merchandise strategy for each delivery. Responsibilities:

  • Create seasonal line plans for RTW components

Returns Assistant

The Role:

The Returns Assistant executes and undertakes all return-related activities. The person in this role will handle, and process all returns for our Ecommerce, Retail and Wholesale Division.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review daily reports from warehouse and process open returns.
  • Coordinate and follow up with other departments to ensure problem resolution.
  • Work together with Customer Service team members to promote an environment of customer satisfaction.
  • Daily review and follow up of pending or missing RMAs through RMA systems.

Raw Materials Assistant

The Role:

Veronica Beard is seeking a Raw Materials Assistant to join the Raw Materials team. This position is based in our NYC office and reports to our Fabric Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain fabric library and seasonal fabric collections.
  • Assist with daily communications with both nominated mills and full package vendors to track production fabrics and endure deadlines are being met.
  • Track bulk cuttings for approval and prepare head ends for review.
  • Distribute color standards, production standards, and swatches to mills.
  • Enter raw material information into PLM and ensure data accuracy during pre-production stage. Update material information as needed.
  • Work with cross functional teams to generate content codes, color codes, and style numbers in PLM.
  • Request and allocate pre-production sampling fabric and track shipments to factories.
  • Communicate with cut room on upcoming bulk fabric shipments.
  • Pull production BOM materials information and yields ahead of fabric buy.
  • Assist in making sure fabric inventory and liability records are updated and match official records. Update ERP system as needed.
  • Attend local fabric shows, including Texworld and PV NYC.
  • Assist in developing fabric for post-market adds and exclusives.
  • Update Product Knowledge files and ensure accurate fabric information is distributed to cross functional teams.

General Manager, Suburban Square

The Role:

The General Manager is responsible for maximizing sales, providing an exceptional shopping experience for the customer, and managing the store’s visual and operational standards, including the store’s shrink %, wage cost and Clienteling. The General Manager is responsible for staffing, training and developing high performance teams.

  • Follows company criteria properly hiring, reviewing, coaching and promoting Sales Associates and Assistant Managers

        The Role:

        Veronica Beard is seeking a motivated Specialty Store Account Executive to join our growing specialty store team. This person will be responsible for the continued growth and development of the Veronica Beard specialty store business for RTW, Jean, and Swim categories based within a key market.

         

        Responsibilities:

        • Lead market appointments by presenting the collection to current and prospective accounts
        • Oversee order entry and order maintenance
        • Cultivate relationships with existing accounts and identify market or regions with new business potential
        • Work on key targeting strategies with the team
        • Act as a brand ambassador for Veronica Beard both in the field and in the showroom
        • Manage account projections for initial bookings and re-orders
        • Understand and react to sales trends and opportunities
        • Travel and oversee trunk shows within the pre-determined territory

         

        Requirements:

        • 4+ years of relevant wholesale experience
        • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
        • Ability to work well in a team setting
        • Understanding and knowledge of key markets
        • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

        The base salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $85,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The base salary is just one component of our total compensation offerings, which consist of a comprehensive benefits package as well as a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.
