"I love this jacket so much I purchased both the brown suede and black melange. Both are perfection - pieces I'll have for many years. I love the longer length and less fitted cut. Despite being less fitted in the body this jacket is still so flattering, and the arms/shoulders are not too large/boxy. This could pass as a blazer with just a tank or blouse, or more of an outerwear item. Can dress up or down. The black melange doesn't come across as black in person - more of a brown/black/cream mix with flecks of burgundy, making it versatile. Buttons on both are beautiful. I usually order size 2 in VB blazers and most other items, but purchased a 4 in these to have a more generous fit and room for layering. Honestly so obsessed with this cut and the color/material on both!"

Excellent Fall/Winter jacket with Boxier Cut...

"This is an excellent fall/winter wardrobe addition. The construction, fabric, and the buttons are of great quality. They call the color black, but it is really more of a dark melange with plenty of brown in it. It can surely be worn with many fall colors. The fit is much boxier than their typical jackets and gives a more relaxed look which is perfect for casual weekends over jeans or dressed up to work. Another excellent jacket from Veronica Beard!"
