"It’s much smaller than I thought it would be. Generally, size 14 in this brand fits me well. I have a pair of xl jeans I also ordered and they fit great. But I can’t return these pants and the only way to get wear out of them is to redesign the same waist and hips. The legs are very roomy. It’s like a size 10 waist on a size 14 pant."

"I bought these on a no-return final sale, so was a bit worried. But they're so much better than expected; I'm thrilled with them! I'm an old girl, so even though I'm slim and fit, my waist is now a size (or two) larger than my other measurements (sadly happens to us all, ladies) I bought them at my waist size, and the fit is beautiful. I think they're more flattering on me than the model; this fabric can be clingy, the back looks much better loose. I was worried about the ginormous pleats on the thighs, right? We used to laugh after the Annie Hall days about wearing big pleats in THE most unflattering area; yet here we are again, ha. But they look great! No need to balance them out with big sleeves or shoulders. I think the elegant length and silky fabric help. I'm 5'8" and have platform boots especially for my elevator pants :) The waist falls a bit low at this larger size, causing the pants to hang down even longer. If I pulled them up to my natural waistline, no hem needed. But that's not a flattering look in the back, so I'll hem them just a tad. I like the suggestion on the model to wear an evening top with these. It could be a great alternative to a garden party cocktail dress. I've basically stayed the same size all these decades, so I do have a full closet. I don't buy anything new unless I know I'll wear it at least 10 times. I will SO be wearing these! Even with the longer length, they're really versatile. Recommended!"
