Our beauty look for our Fall 2017 presentation was all about keeping things effortless, natural and polished. We partnered with Oribe, tenoverten and Bobbi Brown (the dream team!) backstage and had the pros share their tips for getting these looks right now.

Hair by Kien Hoang for Oribe.

THE HAIR

We’ve been teaming up with Kien Hoang from Oribe for the last few years because he knows effortless hair. For fall he gave models a low side part with shiny, loose waves. “It’s kind of like she just walked in from a snowstorm, it’s easy but still polished,” he told us backstage. Turns out, it is pretty easy to keep your hair looking good even when the elements are against you. Kien recommends the Oribe Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream, a leave-in conditioner that you just lightly press it into your hair to keep up the shine and tame frizz. Finish your look with Oribe Impermeable Hair Spray, an anti-humidity spray, that will keep you in control and looking fresh.

THE NAILS

When it comes to nails, we firmly believe that lessis always more. For our presentation, we went with two coats oftenoverten’s Washington, a sheer white. This easy neutral is all youneed for a chic manicure any time of year. Our backstage nail artistFrances Liang recommends keeping the nail length short when going for asheer polish and to always use a top and base coat.

THE MAKEUP

Natural, even and glowy. That’s what makeup artist Marc Reagan had in mind when he created our fall beauty look. He gave lips a plum stain, lids a glossy finish (invest in Eye Gloss ASAP) and kept skin glowing with a mix of Bobbi Brown’s Pink Retouching Powder, Pale Pink Blush and Cheek Glow Palette. This is one look you don’t have to wait for September to try.
