Makeup by Cassandra Garcia for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics
"The look is natural and pretty, with a light flush through the cheeks."
The Skin
1.
Prep with our Hydrating Face Tonic. All it takes is a couple cotton pads to refresh the skin nicely.
2.
Moisturize with Vitamin Enriched Face Base, which is a beautiful emollient that sinks into the skin. It's the perfect prep for makeup.
3.
Apply foundation. Our Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation, with SPF 15, neutralizes the face—nothing too much, just where you need coverage.
4.
Apply Full Cover Concealer to add a bit of brightness.
The Brow
1.
Shape the brow with a clear brow gel, brushing up and under.
The Eyes
1.
Apply our Cream Shadow Stick, in vanilla or taupe, all over above the eye. A lot of times when we add pinks or yellows, we look tired, so we want to neutralize that with a matte beige-y color.
2.
Sweep an icy pink, like our Damask Ball, over the top eyelid. It's a pretty pink sheen that gives this almost watercolor-like shimmer effect
3.
Add a bit of Bone Shimmer in the inner corner, to open up the eye.
4.
Apply that same icy pink, Damask Ball, on the bottom of the eye for a soft sheen.
5.
Finish with a tint of mascara—nothing too much—and then take a clean brush through the lashes so they still look fluttery.
The Cheeks
1.
Smile, and apply our Pink Retouching Powder by brushing on the apples of the cheeks. Focus more on the front than the sides.
The Lips
1.
Apply our Tinted Moisturizing Balm, so it stains a bit.
2.
Press a little bit of Nude Reality Luxe Matte Lip Color on the top with your fingertips. You can do it straight from the tube or use a brush, but I like to press with my fingertips so you get this undone look. It's not too much color application, but you get the tone on it.
Makeup Hack: Take the Look from Day to Night
1.
Smudge a little eyeliner through the top lash line. Use a soft brown around the eye, so you get a smokey eye while still seeing the link everywhere.
2.
Do the same, just a little, on the bottom lash line.
