We rewrote the codes of prep, filtering them through a luxury lens. Think campus-core, but with the softened-up romance and cool finesse of Gossip Girl gone downtown. We designed varsity sweaters to hang gently, updated the classic sweatshirt with power shoulders, and served up more of our much-loved sets in schoolboy blazers paired with matching miniskirts. In thinking of prep culture and all-American tailoring with a nostalgic, collegiate spirit, we began to explore heritage iconography and incorporated crest motifs throughout the collection, in emblems and on buttons. But the biggest news here? We revamped our logo to telegraph the energy of Veronica Beard today—bold, clean, direct. You'll find our new branding on the runway in ways both overt and discreet—from an allover graphic print to a notched lapel with “V” hardware.

We will always stand for thoughtful, uncomplicated design and this season—with its undercurrent of chic nonchalance—was no different. Silhouettes were elongated but relaxed, with an emphasis on an elegant drape: effortless slip dresses, fluid suiting, oversized knits… Even fall's major layering motif evoked a sense of lived-in ease, right down to the sweaters loosely wrapped around the waist or shoulders.

We always love a good mix, whether high-low or masculin-féminin—or both. For Fall 2023, we added an extra spotlight on intriguing fabric combinations and textural interplay. It's about the hand of the fabric—nubby tweeds, coated gabardine, lace, corduroy, python vegan leather, and super-soft cashmere and velvet… After all, clothes should feel as good as they look.
