At Veronica Beard, paying it forward isn’t just something we believe in—it’s our ethos. That’s why we’re proud to announce our Q3 2025 VB Gives Back partner: the CFDA Foundation. Together, we’ve launched the Veronica Beard x CFDA Creative Futures Scholarship, an initiative created to support and champion the next generation of fashion designers.  

The CFDA Foundation—the philanthropic arm of the Council of Fashion Designers of America—funds industry-wide initiatives across education, sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion, helping to shape a stronger, more responsible future for fashion. We’re honored to partner with an organization that shares our commitment to giving back and directly investing in emerging talent. 

The Veronica Beard x CFDA Creative Futures Scholarship is a pipeline for emerging talent—providing four standout design students with both financial support and real-world experience. Each recipient receives a $50,000 scholarship to invest in their education and professional growth, along with a summer internship at our NYC headquarters, where they work alongside our team and gain a deep understanding of how our collections come to life. 

“Access and exposure are key, especially so early in these students’ careers,” says Veronica Swanson Beard. “We’re so thrilled to be partnering with the CFDA and share their commitment to supporting the fashion designers of tomorrow.”  

The students began their internships in June and are already gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the creative process of developing our Spring 2026 collection. “We are so excited about the opportunity to mentor and inspire the next generation of designer talent,” says Veronica Miele Beard. “We also fully expect that we’ll be the ones inspired at the end of the day.”  

This initiative reflects our deeper commitment to championing new voices in fashion and giving them the tools and opportunities to thrive. Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing more from the students and their internship experience throughout the summer.
