It’s this belief in hope—and in the breakthroughs transforming cancer care—that inspires our first VB Gives Back partnership of 2026: The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, a volunteer-led community supporting advancement in patient care, research, and education at one of the world’s leading cancer hospitals. 

Founded in 1946, The Society of MSK is part of MSK Giving, the philanthropic arm of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Through high-impact fundraising events and long-term initiatives, The Society has raised more than $100 million to advance the work that shapes the future of treatment. Its members—dedicated volunteers and philanthropists—help fund the programs and discoveries that make MSK a global leader in oncology.    

From early-stage research and clinical trials to housing, transportation, and financial assistance for patients and families, The Society fuels efforts that improve both outcomes and quality of life for people facing cancer—touching thousands of lives each year. 

The Society’s 2025–2026 campaign, Finding Tomorrow’s Treatments Today, centers on clinical trials—one of the most powerful drivers of progress in cancer care. Nearly every treatment available today began with a clinical trial, and for many people facing limited options, these studies offer the most hope for healing and survival.  

With nearly 2,000 clinical trials underway at any given time, MSK gives patients access to innovative therapies often years before they’re available anywhere else. Support from The Society helps accelerate this work—funding early-stage research, patient assistance programs, and community outreach initiatives that make lifesaving care possible.
