Winter Skin Care

I am what you might call a “skincare junkie.” After years of trial and error I have landed what I deem to be the perfect regimen for clean, youthful skin. I live by:

1. Chemical Peel: this is the easiest way to remove dead skin and reveal a fresh, healthy complexion. Dead skin creates lines and large pores and is ultimately drying. Moisturizer and foundation cover the problem but can create more layers on your face.You have to get down to the new skin under there! I swear by Dr. Perry’s Night Thyme Serum. Start 3x a week and build up to daily.The stuff is strong but effective!

2. It’s all about radiance: nothing brightens your face more than VITAMIN C.Dr. Perry’s Night Thyme is packed with it, but if you need a boost, use SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum. You will glow!

3. Clarity is key:How many times are we covering and/or apologizing for our blemishes? Sun damage and hyperpigmentation is the enemy.
Daily use of Licorice Root Extract is an easy fix for this.You’ll find this in (you guessed it!) Dr. Perry’s Night Thyme or another amazing hydroquinone free product isPeter Thomas Roth’s De-Spot Skin Brightening Corrector. If you want to splurge, ask your derm about “Clear & Brilliant” laser. It’s a light form of fraxel and will help with clarity and radiance to give you a kick start.
