What is the perfect rise for me?

The rise measures the distance from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband, determining where the jean sits on your torso.

What jean length works best for me? 

The ideal jean length depends on both your height and how you want the style to fall on your leg. Inseam length is measured from the crotch seam to the hem.

VB inseam sizing is based on a 5'8" - 5'10" height, or a 30" - 32" inseam.

"I had recently purchased this exact model jean in a different color in a size 28 and it fit perfectly. I decided to order another pair because I loved it so much. Size 28 was now too small. I exchanged it for a 29 and it’s still on the tighter side. It may stretch with use but not 100% sure. Very frustrating that sizing is not consistent.
