The Role:
Veronica Beard is looking for a Product Development Assistant to join our LA denim team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for denim product, is highly organized and proactive. The position will be supporting the product lifecycle for denim and washed product category. This role is based out of our LA office and reports to the Product Development Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Report to and work closely with the Product Development Associate in the LA office / assist with daily tasks
- Organize seasonal WIPS
- Spec all development garments before and after wash
- Manage shrinkage documents
- Follow up with factories on ETAS
- Ensure protos / SMS arrive in NY by due date
Requirements:
- Must have a car and valid driver’s license as vender visits are required
- High attention to detail
- Strong organization skills
- Must have a positive attitude can keep up with a fast-paced environment / remain flexible
- Eager to learn and grow in the Product Development role
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to cross functional team members
- Proficient in excel, Microsoft suite, and adobe illustrator
- Some knowledge of the production cycle from concept through completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eager to learn and grow in the Product Development role
