City Guide: Camila Alves on Austin, Texas

We are heading to Austin, Texas this week and couldn’t think of a better tour guide than Austin resident and co-founder of the just keep livin foundation, Camila Alves McConaughey. Camila and her husband Matthew have done amazing work empowering high school students through their organization and we are honored to partner with them on a fashion show during the star-studded Mack, Jack & McConaughey charity event in Austin.

What do you love most about Austin?

The fact that everyone has their own identity. It is the most liberal city in a conservative state. It is the perfect combination of structure and creative artists, and I'm not even mentioning the amazing food, music, and scenery.

How to measure the body:

  1. Shoulders: measured from shoulder blade to shoulder blade
  2. Bust: circumference measured at the fullest part of the chest
  3. Waist: circumference measured at the smallest part of the waist
  4. Hip: circumference measured at the fullest part of the hips (or 8” down from the waist)
  5. Sleeve length: measured from the center of the back of the neck to the wrist
  6. Inseam: measured from the top of inside the leg to the ankle
