Drink Pink: Ramona Summer Cocktails

When it comes to a refreshing summer drink, Jordan Salcito knows a thing or two. She created RAMONA, an organic Italian grapefruit wine spritz, to make portable wine drinking easier and even more refreshing. Below she shares four recipes perfect for your next BBQ, summer picnic or to sip while hanging poolside.

Not Your Mama’s White Wine Spritzer

.25 oz fresh lemon juice

.5 oz dry vermouth
.5 oz St-Germain
2 grapefruit ice cubes
Grapefruit wedge, for garnishing

Process: Add the ice cubes to a wine glass. Add the lemon juice, dry vermouth, St-Germain and Ramona Ruby Grapefruit Wine Spritz to the glass. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.

Ma, Ma, Ma, My RAMONA

1.5oz Altos Blanco Tequila
.25 oz Luxardo Maraschino
.25 oz St George Absinthe
.5oz Lime Juice
.25 oz Simple Syrup

Process: Add all ingredients minus RAMONA in a shaker tin. Add ice and shake for 5-10 seconds. Fine strain into a Highball or Collins glass and add 2 oz of RAMONA. Fill with cube ice and garnish with salted grapefruit wedges.

RAMONA Negroni

1/2 can RAMONA
2 ounces Campari
2 ounces Gin
1 ounce Grapefruit juice (fresh squeezed, y'all)
1 ounce orange juice (freshies)
Splash Simple syrup
Couple of ice cubes.

Process: Place that magic in a blender and whirl it up.Enjoy!
