Quick—what do TLC, Julia Roberts, Coca-Cola and Martin Luther King Jr. all have in common? They're all from Atlanta, one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in the South. It's a mecca for pop culture, and a magnet for artists, gastronomes and media titans alike. It's where you can find the world's largest drive-in restaurant and the largest Hindu temple outside of India. Its skyline glitters, literally—the historic Capitol Dome is layered in 43 ounces of pure gold. And, now, we're proud to announce it's the location of our newest VB store.
Come visit us at 211 Buckhead Avenue NE in Buckhead Village, the new shopping district at the heart of the city's bursting creative and fashion scene. Below, your first sneak peek—plus highlights from the store from our interior designer, Carolina DeNeufville.
1. The Atlanta store has extremely high ceilings and two entrances, one on each side, flooding the space with natural light from the windows.
2. Step inside and you'll be greeted by vintage tessellated stone tables, from 1st Dibs, at both entrances, while the center of the store is anchored by two vintage rattan sofas covered in a richly patterned Zanzibar print from Schumacher. In between, there's a three-layer coffee table crafted from antique horn, which we found on Chairish, another favorite source for vintage furniture. "We wanted a residential feeling with the seating area," DeNeufville explains, "and created an inviting area to try on shoes and shop for accessories."
3. VB fans will recognize our tried-and-true brand details throughout—from brass elements to a Phillip Jeffries grasscloth wall covering. As for the artwork, it's a mix of our favorite vintage photography with a whimsical print by Marco Walker as the focal point. For more on Walker—read our interview with the artist here.
