New York or Nowhere: The Influencer Guide to NY

DEBUG: core/paragraph

Fact: It’ll always be New York or nowhere for us.

Our limited-edition I Love NY dickey jacket captures the intense pride so many of us feel for New York right now. And it got us thinking… At a time where travel is limited, why not get to exploring our own home, in the city and beyond? Here, we speak to influencers Janelle Marie Lloyd (@waityouneedthis) and Blair Eadie (@blaireadiebee) on their favorite places in New York, guides to must-have locales and, of course, the most Instagrammable spots.

What are some of your favorite hole-in-the-walls in the city?
Tokyo Record Bar, Peachy's, and Santiago's Beer Garden.

What's next on your New York travel list?
Antiquing in upstate NY has been on my list for a while! Charming antique shops in Hudon, Beacon, Hyde Park, and Kingston are just a short road trip away from the city.

What's one of your favorite Instagrammable spots in the city?
One of the most photographed locations in NYC is the Brooklyn Bridge. While it can be seen as cliché, it is still one of my favorite spots in the city. When I shoot on the bridge we typically try to get to the center of the bridge around sunrise. Being in such a beautiful place and overlooking the city when everything is so calm in the early AM feels surreal (although watch out for bikers). Lesser known locations I love include Commerce Street (at Barrow) in the West Village, Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn and Anchorage Street in DUMBO!

What's next on your NY-travel bucket list?
Glenmere Mansion in the lower Hudson Valley! I have always wanted to stay here. It books up far, far in advance and comes with quite the price tag so this would only be for a very special milestone or occasion! Beacon NY is always an easy go-to for me. The Dia:Beacon is an incredible museum and one of my favorite spots in all of NY. If you want to create a day full of art—hop in the car and visit Storm King in the AM and Dia:Beacon in the afternoon.
