The Role:

Veronica Beard is seeking a detail-oriented Email Marketing Assistant to join our growing CRM team. As an Email Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in executing our email marketing campaigns to engage our current database as well as gain new customers. You will work closely with the Email Marketing Assistant Manager and cross functional partners to ensure each email campaign not only meets business needs but aligns with our brand’s vision. You will report on key email metrics to ensure constant optimization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor email and SMS marketing trends, evolving best practices, competitor activity, and testing opportunities to help drive business.
  • Assist with creating monthly email calendar, taking into account all business requirements, product availability, digital initiatives, historical email performance etc.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of email and SMS marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement.
  • Utilize Klaviyo to create and schedule email campaigns, segment lists, and pull campaign performance data.
  • Utilize Attentive to create and schedule SMS campaigns, segment lists, and pull campaign performance data.
  • Maintain the email and SMS marketing dashboard with updated data for weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Creative and Editorial team to ensure performance data is being passed along for real time campaign optimization.
  • Assist in managing the Canadian email marketing calendar to ensure their customers are getting the same experience as the US.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 1-year experience in Digital Marketing, specifically in the retail industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, collaborate, develop, and grow within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, time-management, and interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and strategically with a wide range of internal departments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in M.S. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Asana, Klaviyo or Attentive is a plus

 

The hourly rate for this role is between $24.00 and $25.00. The relevant hourly rate will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The hourly rate is just one component of our total compensation offerings, which consist of a comprehensive benefits package as well as a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.
